One of the most beautiful places of Chihuahua is Basaseachi National Park, it mainly covers the rugged and spectacular part of Candameña Barranca. This barranca has 1750 meters of deep and it is named as the waterfalls barranca , because it has the two highest waterfalls in México. Piedra Volada waterfall with 453 meters is the highest in Mexico and is the number 12 in the world, it has its rate of flow full in months June to October, the rainy days. Basaseachi with 246 meters is the second highest in Mexico and number 45 in the world.
The Park has "Peña del Gigante", it has the highest vertical face in Mexico, with 885 meters height. This barranca has been, in the last years, a paradise for explorers and climbers.
