The beatiful waterfall called El Salto, with a drop of 15 meters, is very near Sisoguichi. Families from the community are accustomed to taking daylong outings here. In addition to the waterfall, there are marvelous views of the canyon, and there are any number of clear pools in the river that are perfect for a relaxing bath.

The beautiful community of Sisoguichi is 30 km east of Creel. This town dates back to 1676, when the Jesuits established the mission named Dulce Nombre de Maria de Sisoguichi, in the midst of the Tarahumara people living in the region. The mission is in excelent condition at the current time, and it has been the headquarters of the other Tarahumara missions for almost a century.
